BCS National Championship

After ringing in the New Year we had one more place we just had to be. The Tostitos BCS National Championship football game in Glendale, Az. I want to send a loud shout out to my Papa Jim for making this all happen. Even though the Ducks weren't able to come out on top, we had an amazing time with friends and family. Just look at the smiles on everyone's faces.

Feeling lucky, I convinced my dad to let me use some of my piggy bank coins to hit my first ever slot machines in Vegas. Didn't prove to be fruitful.

I think I get the award for being so "Ducked Out"

Hanging with my second cousin Staphanie at the Pep Rally

Feelin' the love with my cousins Shawn and Stephanie Lambert!
Game Day breakfast at the Waffle House, man I'm nervous
On our way to the game. Notice in the carriage, that's a cooler of beer my Lulu is pushing instead of me

Oops, think my parents had too many Coors Light while tailgating. My diaper hadn't been changed for hours. Look close there is actually a puddle on the ground.
Finally was able to get a little bit of shuteye before kickoff! More tailgating!
Getting ready to head in to the stadium. Check out my hat, it was a huge hit among the fans!
Dad and I checking out the stands, wow this place is crazy
Mom's favorite Today Show anchor Anne Curry sat right behind us. She thought I was so cute that she actually asked if she could take a picture of me. My dad said, "sure, but that'll cost you."
Me with my Lulu!
Me with my Auntie Lyn, she is the biggest Duck Fan!!
Hang in there Ollie!!!
And he's out...

And that's a wrap! Thanks Papa Jim!

Happy New Year 2011!

Once arriving back home from our Christmas in Florida, we packed back up again and headed for the snow in Sunriver, Oregon. I kept hearing everyone talk about ringing in the New Year and staying up until midnight. Wasn't sure what all the hype was about as both my parents were asleep by 10:00pm. This wouldn't have anything to do with me would it?

Helping my dad tune his new skiis. Can't wait until I can join him in the backcountry.

So facinated with stairs. My Lulu is showing me how to get back down as going up is the easy part! Up and down... Up and down...

My buddy Parker and I taking a tubby. It was Parker's house so he got to sit on his thrown.

My first Christmas!

What a fun first Florida Christmas(8 1/2 mo.)! Doesn't get much better than hangin' with my two older cousins, aunts, uncles, my Nena and Papa and of course my parents! Enjoy the pics!

I think my parents were secretly scheming to stick me along with my life jacket in the underbelly of the plane, thank goodness the bag was overweight!

My cousins and I waiting in line to get our picture taken with Santa. I didn't even cry, guess that's because I had my cousins around me.
Me with my Auntie Shelley Christmas Eve. She loves to hold me and really wishes that we lived closer.

Thanks Kathy and Mary, nothing like a Boston Red Sox shirt

Me with my cousins sporting our matching T-shirts. Our parents made us pose for this one.

Me with my Nena and Papa Christmas Day. I sure love being with them.

My Nena took my cousins and I to the Tampa Children's Science Museum. Just a little bit closer Nena I can almost reach the water!

Guess what I'm doing?

What a trip, I officially need a vacation from my vacation! That's me cashed out on the floor in the bulkhead of the airplane.

On the move

Oh wow, my world has changed since mastering the crawl on my 7 month birthday. Both good and bad, I've never had so much freedom but at the same time never so many bumps, bruises and tears. Watch out world here I come!

Tia Jess, how does my Downward Dog look as far as technique? If I could only lower those heels a bit more

Really not a fan of my carseat, can't wait to be facing forward!

Yeah that's right, my very own derby car from Herb and Rose, just tasting it out for size

An Awesome October: Pumpkin Patch, Papa's visit and a Happy Halloween!

I can't believe we are almost through the month of October! Given the time of year, we decided to head to the Roloff Family Farm, you know from the TV series Little People Big World(totally mom's idea). What my mom had forgotten was that I was days away from being 7 months old and had no idea where I was but that hay was sure tasty. Anyway, my dad and I survived and are already scheming as to how we can get out of it next year. As for my Papa's visit, that was cool, he got to take care of me one morning while mom was at work and I survived and so did my Papa. We also tailgated together down in Eugene before the UCLA vs. UO football game. As for Halloween, well the pictures say it all. My costume was too small, I was coming down with a cold, and there were six other funny looking kids my age who were feeling the same way. Next year has to be better!

Okay mom, this is really a cheezy picture

Way more interested in the grass than the pumpkins

Just days before my big debut as a Tiger, making sure my costume still fits since I happen to be growing like a weed these days

Dad and I carving my first pumpkin, I had to be contained in Baby Vegas, it was just way to exciting!

he turned out pretty awesome don't ya think

Papa, Dad, Papa Jim & me tailgating at Autzen Stadium-Go Ducks!!

All cozied up with my Dody cap and my handmade sweater by my cool neighbor Sandy

At my Halloween playdate, I'm the lil' tiger on the end. This is the point that I realized my mom had seated me right next to a giant Red Lobster

Okay, I'm totally over this lobster, this costume and the sun in my eyes!

Big changes in September- School Starts

Well, the month of September got off to a fairly great start given that mom was heading back to teaching part-time. Between you and I, it was most definitely harder on my mom than dad and I. I have to say that my nanny Maria is awesome and she takes really great care of me. We have fun singing, going on morning walks and learning spanish. I'm honestly getting really good at rolling my "r's". I was also able to travel to Boston and connect with my East coast roots! The best part of it all was getting to spend lots of time with my Nena and Auntie Shelley who flew up from Florida. I like to call that weekend the Tour de Ollie. By the time we were ready to head back to Oregon, I had visited three states, Massachussetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, what fun!!

Mom's first day of school
